CROFTON LIONS Centennial Birthday "Party in the Park"
Sunday, June 11 at 2 PM - 5 PM Stubbington Recreation Ground
2017 is a special year for Lions. One hundred years ago the first Lions club was created by Melvin Jones - so all Lions Clubs worldwide will be celebrating.
We would love our local community to share our birthday and are planning a little party. Basic idea is that we will lay on free entertainments (currently thinking: fun family races, face painting, punch and judy, bouncy castles, tea/coffee, story tellers, cake competition, bit of music if we can find a local band or two etc) ... you just need to bring a picnic to eat, a blanket to sit on, a healthy sense of fun, and a "have a go" spirit!

Fareham & Crofton Cricket Club New Players Welcome
Opportunities for boys, girls and adults to receive qualified coaching and play in a team this summer are available, just make contact with us on www.farehamandcroftoncricket.co.uk and enjoy a family friendly club at beautiful Bath Lane, Fareham with a modern clubhouse and be part of the 100 year history of cricket on this ground.
We don’t like cricket – WE LOVE IT!!
If you don’t want to play you will be made very welcome if you come to watch any Saturday afternoon from May to September.
Fareham & Crofton Cricket Club is situated in a beautiful location close to the centre of Fareham and welcomes ‘new or returning cricketers’ Adult and Colt players to join us for the 2017 season.
Our Adult net training starts on 6th April 2017 at Bath Lane from 6.00pm – 8.00pm and our Colts out door training also held at Bath Lane starts on Monday 24th April for the U13 & U15 Colts and on Wednesday 26th April for the U9 & U11 Colts, these sessions run from 6.15pm – 8.00pm, weather permitting! Our Colts coaches are all ECB qualified, Frist Aid trained and DBS checked.
We are also pleased to announce that All Stars cricket is coming soon. All Stars cricket is a new ECB initiative for 5-8 year olds. More details will be available soon via the club website, when released by the ECB.
All Stars cricket will replace the Saturday morning cricket club.
